On October 18, the NAEGA Grades and Inspection Committee and the NGFA Grains, Grades and Weights Committee held a joint committee meeting at the Wheat Marketing Center in Portland, Oregon. During the meeting, the Joint Committees discussed the recent changes that were proposed and implemented under the reauthorized U.S. Grain Standards Act (USGS), opportunities to promote committee policy objectives over the next two years ahead of the next USGSA reauthorization and ongoing issues with grading and inspection services.
