Philippine Biotech Approval

Monsanto has informed NAEGA that soybean DTxRR2Y (MON 87708 x MON 89788) has received biosafety permit approval for direct use as food, feed or for processing in the Philippines. The permit is valid through January 31, 2022 and is coded 17-001FFP. This is the first GM product approved for use in the Philippines under the country’s new regulatory guidelines.
